Well I have been really busy to update the site, but as most of you know,Ben is opening the new studio, it should be done in the next few days, and The emails have been going out for the new classes, if you want to learn the art of taking pics as Ben does, please email me at

I have been asked this alot" Why should we book with you"?
The things that stand out the most for myself that is important to anyone
doing businesss with us is that of Quality, If it is not the best then I don't want it "Why would you?" I know some of the best growers around for flowers, and manufactures of products, So That is a very important thing to consider,Next is Value, which of course is the one of the best things to look for any business, I am a shopper and always looking for the best deals on all that I do in my personal life, Why not do the same for my business, I feel that I am honest and fair in all of my pricing structure,
The next is Service, Another important aspect of my business as well as personally, I can't imaging limiting calls or emails to any of my customers, that is just bad business practice, I don't like for people not to call me back or email , I do understand that people are busy , But hey come on, So I am always a phone call or email away. So give the best products money can bye, QUality and Service, that is the three things, that describe us, There are alot of other things as well, but this is what came to mind, When asked this question, So when you want this type of service then "We are the company for you " You have been told often that I want it all " But my budget won't work, Well then if that is the case you really need to contact us, Because I can make most all budgets work, I do have the leverage of negotiating. Well I just wanted to let you know all that is going on, at Ultimate Affair,
as I mentioned a while back there are several great things going on, So today , I thought I would let you know some of the wonderful things, Ben is going to open a Photography Studio/ Photograph classes as well, He has been working on the new location for his studio for the last couple of months, hammering nails, and tearing down walls, < Yeah he can do that stuff as well> So in the next fews weeks it should be done, so I will announce on here when it will be done. Also Ben and I are also have a new hot spot for wedding rentals, Have you always dreamed or had the desire to get married by the water, where it was so romantic, great sunsets, a warm breeze, Well if you are that couple who has always wanted that, but thought you couldn't afford it, Then you really need to call and find out all the great deals, This is a site for all romantics at heart, truely a great find. Sometimes I wonder what I should update, so today , it is just this. Everyone asks lots of questions about wedding and events all day. So I thought I would put some important things now on the site, that each and everyone of you.
should know, because as some of you know, I don't hold anything back, and not a sugar coating type person
. These things will be posted on. The Page Ben has put on here for me to answer things on, So It will be up
for you to read, Each week I will post important things to help you with your event. Because frankly it is a nightmare not only for a vendor but a bride as well.Things are changing at the store, We are now selling flowers that can be delivered everywhere, also if you want to make your own, We will also be selling flowers at better prices for you, if you want to make them, Anything you want , Say you want Roses,Hydrangea, but
afraid to order it on line, Then you call us, we get them for you. I will even show you how to put them togeather . And let you know what all things you need to make them.
That is all you have to do.Well on to somethings, of importance. I have been asked this lately, Why doesn't

A MESSAGE AND SOME GREAT FREE ADVICE FROM PAM FOR 2009 BRIDES!
We at The Ultimate Affair want to wish everyone a great New Years Day that will be filled
with love, happiness and great health to each and everyone of you.
I would also like to post the year end review of some very important things
that I have learned in 2008.
We all learn something new every day, these are things that I have seen this year at all the many many weddings we have experienced this year.
1: Make sure your site has AC or Heat, for example, a place with No AC is well...you
got it , just to hot for you and your guests.Just because you will save 1000.00 It is not
worth it when your guests leave after the cocktail hour or don't eat the dinner you have provided
or not even show up when they look at the website of the place you have chosen and they see there is no AC.
2: Make sure the place is clean, yes clean means clean. As we do for all our clients we
do a walk through the week of to make sure these items are done before the event.
3: Rest Rooms; make sure there are at least 2 in any site so that you won't have
guests lined up to use them and also make sure they don't open in the room where people will be eating, one bathroom just doesn't cut it on your big day.
4: Make sure you have 2 bars set up or at least have 2 Bartenders there to serve drinks it
looks way bad to have the guests lined up to just to get a glass of water. No tip jars, tip jars are
tacky.
5 . When serving dinner think about what your guests will really eat, even if you are on
a budget you can have a great meal that all of your guests will enjoy, heavy is
not always the way to go, especially in the heat or the extreme cold, this will also stretch your budget!
6: Treat your guests well. You invited them to share in your new life as husband and wife.
Take the time to say thank you for them coming to your wedding even if it is just a toast by you and the groom, not thanking them for coming is bad manners.
7.Also when hiring your vendors make sure that you put in the contract that under,
no terms are any of the vendors consume alcohol on your event. This is the equivalent to drinking on the job. The reason I am putting this on here is because I have seen it and don't like it one bit, yes I have said something to them on site, so now I have enemy's oh well, that is what you have me there for. We don't do it, and don't feel others need to as well. This is your party and not a free for all for the hired help to "take the edge off".
8. Treat your vendors as you would like to be treated. If you want them to dress a certain way then ask them,
to do so, Tell them if your wedding is Black Tie, or Casual Elegance, Sad to say but some times you have
tell some people this. It is better to let your vendors know than complian later, also feed your photographer, or everyone for that matter, If you can't afford to then let me know for my brides, I have paid out of pocket for
the vendors. myself.
9. When your chose your MOH Bridesmaids they are there to share in your happiness
for your big day, they are not there to wait on you hand and foot, pre wedding or during
that is why you hire a wedding planner for the "day of". Everyone has a busy
life style now adays, also think of the budget constrictions on choosing there dress, Some
maybe can't afford 375.00 just for the dress or 100.00 for the shoes.
10. When doing your research, this is important, make sure that if you don't know about contracts
then ask questions, if the answer is not satisfactory....then don't sign it!
We can do this for you, just call or ask before, don't think it will go away, as for the Quote "Prices subject to change".... well it means just that, I don't want any big surprises on the "day of" and neither do you.
11. Also when selecting a site ask them how many guests it will hold, if they say up to 170.
ask if you can see a set up of all the tables in place for this type of set up, if it sounds
to go to be true when you look at it... keep in mind the guests have to sit to eat, and also
think of the DJ table and other tables that need to be in that room, also if a table on your
wedding day is not set up the way you envisioned it to in its place, that is probably because
the site is to cramped for that to happen. Also try to have a table for your photographer. Good photographers bring lot's of equipment. Also make sure the site is adaptable to guests who have special needs, This is a must for all site to have ramps and such for your guests who need this.
Also if the site offers only there on site cater ask to speak to the chef, he will be the one doing the cooking on your day of, so that you get the type of food you want cooked the way you want it to be.
12. If the site doesn't have out door night lighting then ask how the guests are to
see leaving the place and check the parking situation, nothing is worse than the guests
having to walk several blocks to your event.
13. Check out all rules to the ceremony location , make sure that it will allow those candles
that you wanted. also what are time constraints, for being late?
14. When hiring a photographer make sure he gives you all rights to your pictures, this
means he gives you the right to print and share them with all your family and friends.
If not then you and your guests will be paying 3 to 10 dollars for a 4 by 6 print. Also keep in mind the
camera doesn't lie , If you are having a great time it will show in the pics, the love will show
as well, make sure they do there own editing, not send it to a lab, because they were at your
wedding not the lab tech. We do all our own in house editing, as well give you all rights as
well as other photographers I may refer you too if Ben is booked also give all rights.
15. On the DJ or Band make sure you tell him what songs you don't want to hear on your
special day, and have a CD burned with all of your special day for him, just not the name
of it, It maybe not the version you wanted.Also have a back up one as well, Everyone is
human so the DJ may not know what you are thinking of the same song.
16. Most important,,,Plan a lifetime not just a day, also don't go broke planning your
wedding do what you can afford to do... if you need help with this we are here for you to do so.

yes it was....Canon USA has just introduced it only several months ago and getting
one was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. This camera is so sought after by
